1985 VW Westfalia Vanagon Camper Van Price: 12,000
It pains me to say but I'm looking to sell the Van. I finished my Air Force enlistment last fall and just finished my road trip across the US with it, visiting National Parks and the likes. Recent Colorado transplant so that would explain the 918 area code.
I am the third owner. Virtually no rust on the body(other than the picture of the dent on the rear drivers side, see picture), the owner before me applied something similar to spray on bed liners to the under neath and the side with the van. From what I was told it has spent its life in Arizona and Southern California. Don't be intimidated from the Alaska plates, I bought it 2 years ago in spring and drove it out of Alaska before winter.
Recently had the Heads, Valves, Rods and Lifters replaced along with all the gaskets that comes with that project.
New Go Westy Pop-Top Lift Assist Strutkit
New Go Westy 3.3gl Propane tank
New Go Westy canvas top
New water pump and faucet for the sink
New Tires only have just under 2k miles on them
Solar panel hook up
Comes with Cargo Carrier as pictured.
I had the Transmission rebuilt last summer and recently spotted a leak coming from the front pump seal between the torque converter and transmission. Could get lucky and just replace the seal and it be good. I drove over 17k miles before the leak started.
There is also a small oil leak coming from the oil pressure gauge.
The fabric on the rear mattress bad is torn as pictured.
Exhaust leak from probably bad seals.
