Iím offering this van up for sale or partial trade. Its a 1990. It was imported from Europe a few years ago and has a clear Wiconsin title. While in Europe it underwent a restoration. It was painted red from its original white, all new door and window seals. Has the brighter Euro spec h4 headlights. The KPH speedometer was swapped with a MPH unit. It has a front and rear locking differential and the decoupler installed. It also features the incredibly rare Weinsberg hightop/poptop. New canvas was recently made custom by a boat sail maker. And can be removed easily if need for cleaning or to remove the top, say to get it into a lower garage. It might be the only one with this top in the country at this time if Tigervan has gone back to Europe. Its tall enough for a 6 foot person to stand in when the top is down. There is extra storage in the front section of the hightop ideal for blankets, sleeping bags, and clothing. Going from a pop top to a hightop is great in that there is just more storage space. It has the rear facing jump seat with storage underneath, fold up table and full size z-bed. Last year I completed a Bostig swap complete with high clearance, high capacity oilpan. Gear reduction starter, starts up every time with ease. The swap runs well, but it doesnít really like the tall tires that it is currently equipped with. A smaller tire would give this van a bit more power to get over the hills. However less power on a syncro is better for the life of the transaxle. Everything in the drivetrain is in great shape, Not one seal or joint leaks in the driveline, no coolant or engine leaks either. Wheel bearings all new. New lower control arm bushings, new lower ball joints, all cvs recently overhauled. Transmission shifts great, holds all gears. Lockers work. New fluids front and rear. Trans temp gauge. I built this van for myself, not to sell, so I put the right kind of care into the work. A large plastic water tank is also included that was molded to fit between the drivers side frame rails, there is also a switch/outlet at the back to pump the water, for a shower or what have you. Also included is a large flat duct that sits between the front seats and connects to the center dash panel for heat to circulate in the rear. These ducts did not come on US spec vans. Fiama Awning. Burley motorsports big brake kit up front. New Old Man Emu shocks all around. RMW rear bumper, and RMW front can also be included. Front bumper endcaps and bumper pads are also now installed. Reason for selling is Iíve recently bought an SVX syncro and Iíve got my hands full with its needs. Would consider partial trade on a clean and sorted syncro tin top maybe a Doka. I really donít need two campers. 45k or trade options. Would consider selling the swap alone or van as a roller, but itíd have to be just right as pulling the swap means more work for me. Life is short, and this is a rare van, you do the math!
