1973 VW Thing Daily driver   Price: $8500
This car gets more smiles / gal then any other car on the road. Don't be in a hurry because everyone will stop to ask you about it. This car was original restored in the south west and is rust free. The restoration is about 8 years old so the paint has some wear on it as any car that is actually driven will. It reliably starts every time and has never let me down or stuck. It has had a few upgrades including : Front disk breaks, 15" wheels (because of needed space for disks). roll cage, luggage rack, brush guard front bumper, Rhino lined interior, stereo, glove box, etc. What it still needs if you want to bring it up to perfect is the speedometer / fuel gauge repaired, a minor tune up at some point. I've kept it under a carport and drive it a few miles to work on nice days only. You can see a short video of me cold starting and tooling around the block here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfQHAtts_zw
