1969 VW Beetle Convertible   Price: $25000
Complete pan-off restoration by Earl Mann Bug Shop in Ardmore, OK in 2004.

Teardown/cleaning/sandblasting followed by POR-15 treatment to the chassis/body.

Prior to painting, the body was treated with Z-chrome and urethane primer.

Body sprayed with DuPont Chroma Premier two-stage, GS 424 Spectra.

Replaced pan halves and heater channels and then rebuilt the front and rear

EMPI disc brakes on all four wheels.

New beam, ball-joints, tie rods and ends, steering damper, master cylinder, brake lines/hoses and KYB gas shocks.

1600cc dual-port with hydraulic lifters (Mexican beetle without fuel injection), high volume oil pump with filter, 3 1/2 quart deep sump, Pertronix Flame Thrower electronic ignition, single SOLEX 34 PICT-3 carburetor, stock 'pea shooter' muffler and Sachs clutch.

2083 miles

Sandan SD-505 compressor to compliment the new 134A dual condenser air conditioning system.

TMI Premium Stayfast black top (over restored frame with new wood) and matching black boot.

Interior seats/door panels were covered with an off-white leatherette (#15 from TMI Interior Products). #907 German square-weave carpeting. #48 White Crush heavyweight headliner. Stock black steering wheel from Ventura Warehouse. Blaupunkt CD player (along with four Pioneer speakers). New speedometer. Car alarm.

Car is sold AS IS. To my knowledge, there are only two small things wrong with this vehicle. 1) the black knob on the passanger side vent window is missing.
2) a very tiny tear in the upholstery on the passenger backseat below the window knob. I will post pictures to show these two things.
