Fresh air aircleaner support / finger Price: $20 ea

Here is the elusive split bus aircleaner bracket known as the "finger". It bolts the triangle shaped aircleaner bracket to the front of the fanshroud and is almost always missing.
The purpose of this finger is to keep the coil mount from flexing and cracking under the weight of the aircleaner.
I just installed one on a '54 truck and it really made a difference to the stability of the air cleaner. It is much better now. The truck has a 1600sp with a doghouse fanshroud, and a haggard stale air triangle aircleaner bracket.
These are correct for all 40hp fresh air engines 63 and early 64. They fit fresh air 40hp, 1500, and 1600 fan shrouds, including doghouse fan shrouds.
It you have a 3/55 through 64 bus that came with a 36 hp or 40hp, and you are running a fresh air motor with a stock oil bath air cleaner , it would like this support. (some 63s and 64 came with a 1500 engine and had a air cleaner bracket mounted to the engine compartment roof, those buses do not take this support).
This would also be good for a fresh air motor in a barndoor truck or ambulance.
This version will NOT fit on a stale air fan shroud.
This quality part is a new production part, proudly made in the U.S.A., is laser cut and die stamped, and the look and fit of this item is identical to an original.
