For sale is a 1978 "California Edition" MK1 2 door Rabbit with the 1.6 gas engine and 4 speed manual. A/C car. The car is in pretty rough shape but could be an ambitious project or great for parts. We will sell any part off the car. It has rust in most of the usual spots however strut towers are better than most. The car was rear ended at some point in its life and the rear tail section was replaced with a 74-75 Swallowtail section. Engine isn't seized but unknown when it was last running and has obviously been many years. The "Cali Edition" seats and complete interior has been sold. Car does have a title.
