1995 Mulberry VW GTI VR6   Price: $5500
Itís time to let someone else finish restoring one of my favorite cars. I bought this car several years ago and it was in pretty bad shape. Since then I have done a ton of work to get this thing back to looking pretty sweet.
Itís got fresh paint, from an actually body shop. Not a home job. They put extra clear coat on it so it is ready for a good cut and polish. Iím not a body guy so doing a cut and posing actually terrifies me. But it was painted about a year ago. So itís ready.
203k on the engine, zero chain noise and still a fun and fast car. Cold air intake so it sounds amazing like vr6 should when gettin on it.
It was my daily driver up until just a few months ago when I decided to buy and S-Line. It is still used weekly by various family members.
It has a couple of small quirky issues I have yet to resolve. The driverís side window only works when the engine is off. Lol, havenít figured that one out yet. Sometimes it works fine. German electrical at its finest! There is a small oil leak that is coming from the valve cover gasket, I think.
The interior is in decent shape. Driverís seat has a couple of worn through spot as most do. Wired for a sub. It will probably need a clutch sometime in the next year or so.
This is a very rare Volkswagen. There were only 279 mulberryís made in 1995 and I cannot find one for sale anywhere.
I put custom dials in that match the car and re-clocked them because I thought it looked cool. It has Longbeach rims and fairly new tires on it.
I am only selling it because my youngest daughter is getting married and well, I need some money to cover the cost. The joys of being the father of the bride.
I was planning on going through the engine, and putting in a turbo, but that can be someone else's dream now. All electric, sunroof ectÖ
Asking 5,500 OBO.
One of the rarest VWís around.
I did lots to get this car where it is. If you want specifics, just hit me up.
Text, call or email me.
