1959 Single SC Truck Price: $50k/Auction
(this part will be changed on Sun 5/26 if not sold before)
I've owned this truck for approx 30 yrs off and on, using a 57 for some parts. I finally finished the truck the way I intended. It is totally stock except engine lid and some extra goodies. I built it for local use, shows, and swaps. . I am the responsible party for what this truck is, both plus and minus, and know it's complete history.
I am listing it here for sale until 5/26 and then it will be consigned to Mecum Auctions/Harrisburg held at the end of July.
Options until 5/26:
#1 Come see it, love it, and give me $50K (or more) know that your money is being donated to a grass roots charity that does a lot of good for humanity.
#2 Proper transfer of funds and arrange the shipping and still feel good about your donation.
Watch it or bid on it at Mecum Auctions Harrisburg, PA at the end of July. Sold! Sold! Sold! the $ still goes to charity less auction fees.

*Can I drive it home?
I would suggest seeing it before 5/26 and driving it here on country roads. This truck does everything it's supposed to up to about 55 mph. I would never take it on the freeway.
*Does everything work?
Absolutely everything except the RR light housing is come and go.
*Does it leak oil?
Yes, Some from the main seal
*Is there rust?
I can't find any except for some failure of 1990's treasure chest top coat.
I'll be flexible on showing the truck by appointment. I'm near Cumberland, MD and I-68. slightly closer to Pittsburgh(110 mi) than Balt/DC(140mi). I'm a nice guy but have no time for stories, dreamers, or crooks. Please just value the trucks history & don't tell me about how you plan to lower it down and power it up. Your $ are still good tho, and you might want to save the OG parts! Calls are Ok, but have an outline of your questions first. E mails will be answered if real. No texts.
Except for possible delivery to the Port of Baltimore, I have no knowledge of international shipping.
Neither the truck nor the title will be released until funds clear.
