I purchased this bus in 2013, and have done considerable work on it to take it from an average bus to a super-fun camping machine. Overall, the body and mechanical systems are in very good to good condition, but this bus comes jam-packed with all the upgrades you've drooled over, which are what earn it the premium list price. I am the fourth owner. The previous owner lived in Pennsylvania but garaged the bus, I believe, and it was not a daily driver for him.
-Tiico engine conversion conducted by previous owner. Replaced coolant lines and various other systems and parts, either as part of the conversion, or later on. (somewhere around 50k +/- or minus on engine)
-Rebuilt GoWesty Transaxle with upgraded Ring and Pinion (less than 10k on trans)
-Odometer 18xxxx: Cluster was replaced with one from a 1986, but body miles are in this ballpark, +/- 5k)
-The bus comes with many folders of records, going back to the original owner. I have put many thousands into it, and the receipts are there to document this work, which includes various miscellaneous mechanical repairs and upgrades, $6000 in body work and paint, and lots and lots of aforementioned upgrades.
