Ordered and sold new in RHD UK specification to 1st owner, a British national stationed in Germany in 1972. On his return to the UK in 1974 he sold the car to the 2nd owner that lovingly cared for the car until now.
Mechanically very good. The car had been unused in a dry garage since 2005. Re-commissioned and just serviced at known VW specialist, Vee Dubs.
Supplied with full MOT.
Rare unrestored car, that has been in the careful ownership since 1974. It has only covered 31,000 miles, believed genuine.
Having spent its life in a dry garage with factory Ziebart protection it is exceptionally solid and free of rust throughout.
The panel gaps are as original, with all doors and lids closing as they should.
The underside is in exceptional condition, with the inner arches sharp and the floors solid and all prone areas waxyoled.
As the vehicle has notably never seen poor weather or stored outside the roof gutters are in perfect condition, as too are the gulleys and areas beneath the rubber seals, which have been removed in the photos and since replaced with heritage parts.
The seats and mats are original and complete to factory specification and like the car, look as new.
I am confident that this is the best available on the market, and by some distance.
