1973 Super Beetle - Very Sharp Car!   Price: $8900
BEAUTIFUL 1973 VW Super Beetle

Condition: GOOD - VERY GOOD (by Samba standards)
Original Miles: 56,845

CUSTOM PAINT - Plymouth Prowler Red

Very Peppy Car that wants to be driven!

Former owner stored car in air conditioned garage for 30 years & drove on occasional weekends, which explains the low miles & why it's rust free. Has had a total of 4 owners & been well cared for over the years.

When the Custom California-style Restoration was done approximately 4 years ago, there was no rust repair or patching done...A rarity with Classic VWs. A lot of money has been put into this car with only a few smaller things to fix (see below).

Approximately 2,200 miles added since its restoration.

Custom Paint - Plymouth Prowler Red
Rebuilt 1600cc engine/Big Bore Kit taking it to 1649cc
NEW Redline/Weber 32/36 DFEV carburetor assembly
Electric fuel pump
New tires (from refurb, approx. 2,200 miles on them)
New suspension
GT Grant steering wheel
Custom console
New rubber seals
EMPI running boards
EMPI Mag Wheels
Racing pedals
LED lighting
Flush Taillights
Turning Signals
Custom mirrors
Pioneer sound system
New carpet & floor mats
Door panels and seats look great
Working Speedometer & Odometer

*Additions from April 2019-present day:

NEW Redline/Weber 32/36 DFEV Carburetor Assembly (includes carb. mounting/base gasket)
New Starter
New AC Delco Battery
New Battery Terminal
EMPI Serpentine Belt Pulley System
Premium Alternator
Alternator Voltage Regulator (external)
Ignition Spark Plugs & Wire Set

***EXTRA PARTS WILL COME WITH THE CAR - new crank shaft pulley (part of a kit) & I kept the Weber carb. I replaced; the next owner can use it for spare parts.

**If you wanted to show her there are only a few things you would need to do...for the amateur mechanic (which I am not) it wouldn't be too difficult and the only reason I didn't list her condition as Very Good, by Samba.com's definition. Paint: a few chips in the paint, some bubbling by gas intake (a friend wasn't careful), and some rubbing that occurred along the inner rocker panel, a little oil leakage & I purchased it with the gas gauge not working (chose not to fix it because she's only used as an occasional driver).

*This is a Gorgeous Classic VW Super Beetle that would make a fun addition to any collection. From its super low miles, never any rust or patching, sharp California-style restoration, great color or pampered former life - this little car will give you years of pleasure!*

Reasonable offers will be considered.
