Known Issues as of now:
Few Small dents and faded paint- never bothered me.... van is really straight and rust free.. I donít have to worry about ruining a perfect paint job when camping on single track. You can also see there is not a drop of rust on van.
Cracked windshield-have a new one on hand.

This Westy was built by gowesty in their early days. The 2.3 gowesty motor was replaced with a Stephan auto huas 1.8t motor which runs perfectly and currently has 60k miles on a factory crate engine. It has always been garaged in California when not in use and the interior/exterior reflect these optimal storage conditions as there is zero rust anywhere. Only one repaint in the 30+ years of use. Iíve owned the Westy for about 2 years now which has been super fun without any issues. We attended descend on bend and a few other events. The previous long-term owner used the vehicle with his wife and it was well-maintained throughout its history since the Stephan auto haus engine install and transmission rebuild which came to 24kbill. Iíve put 10k miles on van without one issue. Regular oil changes and recent transmission fluid service and radiator fluid change.
The cleanest stock interior Iíve ever seen in a vanagon.
Over 70k in mechanical restoration receipts.

I would take this van anywhere with zero thoughts of an issue. I am happy to answer any questions you might have. Only thing the van is missing is an awning which I can provide. I donít like them because they can cause gutter damage and are top heavy around turns.

You must see and drive Alpine in person. You will fall in love.
I drop the price recently only because a business opportunity is awaiting. You will never find a BETTER Westfalia at this price. But Iíll let you be the judge of that when you see it.
