November 62 Patina Squareback   Price: 7500
Patina Perfection!

Iím selling my very early Patina Squareback project. November 62 build with all the early pre N features. Matching numbers car, with its original stock single carb 1500.

Originally supplied to Belgium, it made its way to New Mexico USA in around 1969 where it stayed with the same owner until around 2017 when was found abandoned at a shop, where it had gone with engine troubles, at some point. The engine had been removed and placed in the rear luggage area, the car then sat there until was discovered. It passed round a few guys in the US before I bought it and had it shipped over from Texas in early 2018.

Nothing had been done to it at any point in the US, so once back here, after a quick lowering job just for fun, the strip down began to build it as a solid and slammed patina car. It went to Sublime Classic Restorations where the body was stripped off the pan and the pan and spine repaired. Doors were also repaired trying to save as much OG paint as possible. Unfortunately I didnít get much further, I sourced some body cuts for the bits of the body that still needed repair.

So, Itís is currently stripped and needing some further welding to the body, pan is all done and ready to be cleaned and painted. Rear corners and sills need attention, but comes with NOS sill and rust free rear corner cuts.

Interior is the early Salt n Pepper with the original rear seat being perfect. Itís had covers on for a very long time which I stripped off to find the perfect seat in the back, the fronts however have had a hard life, so I sourced some replacement original salt n pepper seat covers and some lower door panels.

Complete car, everything is there itís just in bits. All original running gear present. Spine and rear subframe were blasted. Comes with an additional type 1 drum to drum link pin beam, and dropped spindles, plus short axles and tubes and a set of BBT steel sprintstars (the painted, not the chrome ones).
I've put in a nicely worn VDM steering. wheel too.

The makings of in my eyes one of the best patina squarebacks Iíve seen, just needs someone to finish it.

Itís U.K. registered already with paperwork in my name.

I need to focus on other things, so going to let someone else enjoy this beast, I got a house move and the Porsche to build so this wonít be touched for a very long time at the moment so rather than let it linger itís time for a new custodian.

Currently sat on a frame with castors, which it needs to come off, I may have another frame I can transfer it to for ease of transport. Most things can be loaded inside the car but engine and gearbox etc may be difficult. As itís U.K. registered it can be exported and Iíd be happy to assist with this process at buyers expense.

Msg me for more details. Price for absolutely everything I have for it is £7500 Ono all in.
Can reduce price if some bits arenít wanted. If you can weld then itís not going to need much more money spending, but will take time. Having the replacement rear corners with it, definitely makes the welding a lot easier.
