1960 Sedan, Very solid, Just a cool little car   Price: 12000
My story with this car started about 10 years ago, it was parked for one reason or another for the better part of 15 years before I purchased it. When I brought it home we replaced the entire brake system, drained the fuel tank etched and sealed it and of course giving the engine a tuneup to get it on the road. Fast forward about 4 years, the ring gear was getting noisy and I decided to replace the transmission with a 1961 rebuilt unit ( much more affordable then having the split case rebuilt ! ), I still have the old one if the new owner would like to take it with them. While the engine was out rebuilt heads were installed on the 36hp, rear main seal and clutch were done also, other then that the engine remains basically unchanged. The paint is definitely not original, looks like an older 80ís restoration ? Looks great but a perfect show finish it is not. Looking it all over I do not see any rust holes, heater channels are solid, floors are solid, frame head is solid, packing shelf is solid and in front of / behind the wheels look great. The only real issue spot on the car is the left front lower quarter panel where you can see the remnants of some old body work. It does not appear to have been hit in the front or rear at all. Interior is decent, definitely has been redone but looks good and fits the overall patina of the car. If It sets for a few weeks at a time the engine will smoke a little when it is started... Electrical is still setup for 6 volt even though it now uses an 8 volt battery ( voltage regulator was modified to put out 9.5 volts )Tires are Firestone F-560 that have less then 1000 miles on them. To my knowledge I am the 3rd owner and it is very possible the engine is original but I have not ordered the certificate from the factory to confirm. It has been a really cool car to drive around now and then with the occasional run on the beltway for fun. Iíll put up more pics if requested.. if there is something specific you really want to see just ask. PLEASE !!! No trades, No scams, No third party transactions, and so on.....I am open to reasonable offers. If you are truly interested letís talk. Iím not in any hurry to sell whatsoever, and Iíd be willing to deliver within 100 miles if we can work something out.
