1988 Tristar Syncro   Price: $72000
1988 T25 Syncro TriStar Double Cab for sale, with Henry-Mag Camper Conversion. This is likely a one-of-a-kind rig at this point in time. Freshly imported to the US from Southern France, this rig is fully registered and legal in the US with all customs and registration paperwork done. Sold by Crooked Finger Designs in Bend, OR.

The Tristar was the highest trim level of double-cab offered, with only 500 every built as Syncros, and fewer than 200 still known to exist. The Tristar has an updated interior, custom wheel arches and bumper, and has 4 doors, rather than the 3 typical of double cabs. This one is left hand drive, and came from the factory with a 1.6 Turbo Diesel motor, approximately 110,000 KM (70,000 mi). In addition to the Tristar trim, this one was outfitted by Henry-Mag, a French outfitter with their camper package which included a truck-bed camper, custom fiberglass canopy, removable pass-through from the can to the bed, and double crank operated sunroofs. The Camper is no longer with the rig, but the original henry-mag canopy is still here along with the original side- and tail-gates.

The is a true classic beauty. It has never been restored but is in amazing original condition. There are paint chips, signs of use, and small surface imperfections. The drivers seat has a few small tears in the upholstery. It could be restored to perfection, or kept in it’s original state. Equally suited as a collectors piece or the perfect base for a one-of-a-kind over-cab adventure rig.

Mechanically, it is excellent. Motor starts and runs very well. Hold 65MPH on the highway comfortably. Can handle hill climbs, off-road trails, or highway with relative ease.
This rig was found in France by our friends Julien and Carole, and imported and sold by Crooked Finger Designs. More information and pictures can be found in this brochure made by Julien and Carole:
