For sale all matching numbers 1974 Volkswagen 412 Wagon Type 4. It comes with a 3 speed automatic transmission and is very, vary rare. The 411's and 412's were only produced from 1968-1974. With only 119,627 ever imported into the US. This means that this is a very RARE wagon! The wagon has only 147,000 original miles and still retains the original engine and transmission. At some point in it's life it was converted to dual carbs with the original fuel injection removed. EVERYHTING on this wagon is original. It still has the original paint (which you can see in the pictures has had rust repairs done on it). The paint still shines well and the car has never been in an accident! It cruises very smoothly down the road. If you are a VW collector who has always wanted an all original type 4, 412 wagon then this is it! I have taken detailed photos of the wagon so that you can see it's minor flaws. but this really is a solid vehicle and could possibly be one of only 500 still in the US that is running and driving. Be one of the only folks to own this fine piece of Volkswagen history. You can drive it daily as is or restore to show like condition.
