1965 Standard Walk Through Price: Pending

~Pending Jarno, 2/23 ~
Well, it's time to let this one go. Plans have changed and the grass always seems greener for me when it comes to split window buses. I purchased an earlier bus this past Summer that is going to be taking up my $, so this one is available. Plus Burlyhammer has another bus of mine that he's been picking away at and that one needs more Klassic Fab green. Enough of my addiction troubles, here's the deal :
This is a real German 1965 Standard six pop out window bus that needs major dent love. With some work this could be a cool original paint rig, but I'm not the guy it needs.
This bus was in a salvage yard off the coast of Maine for a very long time and the body dents are the scars of that life. I bought it in Jan. of 2020 and slowly started to clean it up and mess with it during that year. The engine was pulled and is included in the sale. I also sourced an original paint left cargo door from a samba member. Both cargo doors are very dented as is the passenger front door, but all the original cargo doors and red/white passenger door will be included. Bus has the original drivers seat but no other seats.
It will come with a mix of rims/tires. The white/black rims are my set of yard rollers and are not included, sorry.
It has the original fresh air box ID plate, m-code plate and engine apron stamping.
Dents are on the roof, passenger side, drivers side, rear, nose.... Passenger B pillar and C pillar will need work as well.
Underside is pretty decent for these parts but will need metal work.
I have a ton of pictures that will show what you will be dealing with.

Bill of sale for those that only need that. I can get a Maine registration, Maine plates/stickers and a letter of verification from the state if you need that, but that's an extra cost. I'm willing to work with you on a fair grand total for bus and Maine paperwork.
If you are ready to buy this bus :
A non refundable $500 pay pal deposit is required to hold the bus while you get your shipper in order or you make a plan to come and get. Bus rolls and steers for loading. If three months go by after you have put down your $500 deposit, you forfeit your deposit and the bus will be back up for sale. Meaning you have 90 days to get it. I will gladly store it here on my property after said 3 months for $100 per month for up to 12 months.
Pay pal add 5% for fee's. Cash upon day of pick up is good too, but I will not dicker on the price. If you want to see anything else, I can take pictures. I want you to know what you are getting.
Check my Feedback when you get a moment.
Thanks ~ Nate
