1965 VW Beetle-1600CC fresh from the showroom   Price: $20000 obo
1965 VW Beetle with 1600CC Single Port motor **Complete Body-off Restoration**

I am the second owner of this bug since 1991. It was driven until 2000, then parked in the garage. It sat for 17 more years until the restoration started in October of 2019 with my Son in Law. The original owners purchased it from the Long Beach Harbor fresh off the boat. I am still in contact with the original owners in Templeton, CA. Use Instagram: #seabluefritz to see the progress from start to finish. The car is registered and insured in California and will come with the plates, registration, and the title.

The goal was to restore it to as original condition as possible with minor improvements in electrical, performance, and safety. It now has a complete and new 12v wiring harness.
Complete body off restoration with new floor pans and heater channels welded in, while the body was off. Also, new floor pan gasket was added when the body was off. It does appear at some point in its life there was a front end collision that is only noticeable by some ripples under the spare tire well. The boy was straightened out. The mileage is unknown, but since everything has been replaced, it's like driving it off the lot.
