59-65 Engine lid, restorable shape Price: 175 shipped

This is a restorable 59-64 deck lid. It has some odd rust, it was stored inside a beetle with no windows, and it was upside down. The inner structure around the passenger side is pretty rusty, along with the hinge mount. Otherwise, this isn't a bad piece at all, especially for the midwest. It is fairly straight, though there is a slight bend to it, like someone ripped it off a bus violently. I tried to take pictures of the damage, look at them closely. Has the latch mechanism still, though it seems seized up. Decklid prop mount is present but in poor condition. Has a neat license plate bracket, and the license plate light and lens are still there. This thing has quite the look, would make a great wall hanger or run it on your patina bus. Or, fix it up! Price includes shipping to the lower 48.
