1986 Syncro Westfalia w/ 2.5L Subaru   Price: 40000
Selling my '86 Syncro Westfalia Wolfsburg Weekender with a 2002 Subaru Outback 2.5L engine conversion by Rocky Mountain Westy, who did a complete overhaul as well. This conversion offers better performance and fuel economy than the older subies but it's not technically legal in California. This hasn’t been a big problem to keep registered, but it might be easier for someone out-of-state. Drives great with the new engine, can pass cars on the freeway easily, and the 2" lift with 16” wheels and KO2 tires make it very capable for off-road. In great mechanical condition, paint is a beautiful (and rare) Bronze Beige Metallic, which could use some TLC eventually, there's a little rust in usual spots, but no mechanical issues and no accidents.

Serviced regularly at Foreign Autohaus in Los Angeles, and professionally detailed a few months back. I also did a deep cleaning last year during heater core replacement, removing the entire bench seat and cleaning thoroughly, so it's all ready for a new home.

Open to reasonable offers! Can also schedule a virtual showing and can deliver in the continental US with a deposit (down for one last road trip :)
