Genuine German SWF for Volkswagen: Two (2) of Believe to be Part Number 211 945 241 R Lens Stop-tail light, backup! Presumable these would be under Options Code M 524 USA and Canada. Part Number 211 945 241 N for the rest of world-differences not know! Applicable from Chassis Number 212 2000 001 (August 1971 Model Year 1972). Although these two are mostly same same, some slight differences between the two. One is clear around inside periphery of lens, the other one is colored Gray! Identified as #1 for Clear, and #2 for Gray. One has Script GA 1 in bottom Red portion, other one has GA 2 same location. One has Script DGM9981 PR in small rectangle at top of Backup portion; other one has different sized rectangle but no Script, one has 3 Screws, one has none!! However and, running the script from top to bottom #1 Clear has GA 2, SWF, SAE STIAR 71, 1 E143358 R3, GA 1, Made in Germany, GA 1. Other one #2 Gray from top to bottom GA 2, SWF, SAE STIAR 71, 1 E143358 R3, GA 2, DGM9981 PR, Made in Germany, GA 2. These two are about as Fine a Pair as one is likely to see outside of NOS ones. No screws #1. No cracks around periphery, no cracks anywhere, hasn’t been over-tightened at mounting screws a common malady. One has more scratches than other one, however from two feet back virtually invisible. Have been hand polished to a fine sheen, although would require machinery to remove scratches. #2 Gray has 3 Excellent Mounting Screws Part Number N 144 120. Screw bosses and holes are perfect, no broken wallowed out screw mounting holes, etc. Plastic surround Not crumbling due to age, stress, and sunshine!! Superb Reflectors both!!
