Hub Caps Late Model Bug, Bus, Ghia, Type 3/4: NOS   Price: $340MailedLwr48
Believe to be Genuine German: NewOldStock NOS: Believe to be One (1) Set of Four (4) chrome hubcaps Part Number 311 601 151 D Applicable to/for Type 1 Beetle and Ghia from Chassis Number 118 000 001/148 000 001 (August 1967 Model year 1968) for Models 113, 114, 117, 118, 141-144, 151, 152. In some parts of the world for Model Year 1967 from Chassis Number 117 498 910 through 117 999 000 however Not in the normal USA market!! From 1968 on at least through 1978 these are used on Custom/Standard models. Although on many models they are Not used, some being, 1972 Baha Champion bug, 1973 sports bug, 1974 sports bugs, 1975 La Grande bugs etc. I may have missed some bugs in that bunch of bugs! Most Convertibles were still using this hub cap through 1976-1978. Karman Ghia would be from 1968 on! All predicated on the Stock Wheel and Hubs from factory, not possible molestation's. Applicable for Type 2 Bay window era bus from Chassis Number 211 2300 001 (August 1970 Model Year 1971) for Models 221-228, 241, 244, 271, 274. These perhaps run through 1979 (my fiche reader is down). Applicable to/for Type 3 from Chassis Number 316 000 001 (August 1965 Model year 1966)-likely works on Type 34! Additionally applicable to/for Type 4! I have a very nice NOS hub cap made in Japan and it simply doesnít have the quality these four have and additionally the VW emblem is different!-wherever these are Very Nice! Minute scratches, difficult to see, one has slight scar in center lettering, doesnít show in images. The vertical rise to beginning of top curve is Approximately 13 mm's, width across center from outside to outside Approximately 277 mmís, depth at center from flat surface across edges to high spot of VW Approximately 49 mmís! The hub cap removal holes are Top and Bottom 12 and 1800 position. I have had these since early 1990ís before that they were in an Independent shop whose owner bought out several VW dealer obsolete parts caches These are not painted inside, just chrome, as inside chrome often has some spots missed during the chroming process-yes just look at bumper overriders for example! The key to maintaining chrome parts for the long distance is to maintain the polish on them. Number 10 Illustrated Parts refers! Ensure Application: $340MailedLwr48. USPSMO.
