NOS short Bosch 12V coil VW type 1 2 3 4 (3) Price: 110€

NOS Bosch 12V black coil 0 221 114 006 (VW 311905115) date code 911 (November 1969). Genuine German made, correct dark brown backelite and correct plated bracket From old closed dealer/workshop, never used or installed but without box. I have more than one NOS, the exact one in pictures is sold but I can send photos of the one you get. You get a "new" German made coil from back when they were high quality and "top of the line", not a "rebuilt" coil (really just a painted used old coil with a new sticker, maybe even silver painted bracket vs originally plated).
The 0221114006 short/ "shorty" coil was originally used for (12V):
Type 1, 1300 and 1500 from Aug 68 to July 69
Type 14 Karmann Ghia 1500 Aug 67 to July 69
Type 2, 1500 from Aug 66 (to end of split window, OYO)
Type 3, 1600 fastback/ squareback from Aug 65 if 12V
And it can be used in place of other 12V (short) coils used in bug, type 3 and bay window from the 2nd half of the 60's and on or for "stock look" if you have a 6V to 12v conversion.
Blue vs yellow sticker: In the late 60's it seems like bosch for the most part used yellow for 6V and blue for 12V coils. Later than 67, you should probably have a blue. 67 or earlier they might have been yellow. This is just an observation. Old literature can lie as it was common to re-use old photos. Many coils have also been fitted with the 12V yellow aftermarket sticker, making it almost belived how they "should look". Last photos are from sales brochure for baywindow model year 68 (Aug 1967) and model year 68 beetle engine. But if yellow is what you want, it would be easy to fit it with a new yellow sticker.

Shipping cost if not stated otherwise is usually calculated as "First-Class Package International Service" with tracking to the US (and most other countries outside EU). I can also send it insured as registered mail (usually cost a little more) or EMS "Priority Mail Express International" (costly). Small parts can be shipped as priority "letter" mail without tracking in padded envelope from 4.50€ (on buyers risk).
Shipping within EU cost a little more (registed mail usually best option) if not sent as priority 'letter mail". Ask for options.
