1956 Kombi Show Bus Price: £85K

Can't believe I'm doing this but time to move on. so here it goes!
Great opportunity to own this unique bus.
OG German built August 1956 dove blue 11 window kombi.
Built in Germany and shipped to Canada where it spent most of its life. Then imported to the UK as a project in 2008 by Dominic Chinea of BBC TV show The Repair Shop. Dom then dismantled the bus an accumulated lots of parts to restore, but with busy life he didn't manage to get any further. I then purchased it from him in 2016, Since ownership I have carried out a no expense spare complete restoration to the most highest of standards over a 6 year period. Most of the sheet metal was replaced and the body lovingly restored inside and out. Every part was restored or replaced with new. The bus has gone on and won top 20 at volksworld 2022 and has also achieved many best of shows throughout the year. Also having a full feature in camper & bus magazine including front cover.
