1958. Late, ‘59 model
Us import from central Nebraska.
Original paint. Original (restored) logo’s
1600 dual port, dual Solex 35pdsit carbs
Vintage speed low bus exhaust
Narrowed beam
7” hybrid dropped spindles
Porsche 944 brakes all round, new perforated discs up front.
Straight axle conversion with short axles,
adjustable spring plates and Porsche hubs
Shaved gearbox cradle and solid gearbox mounts
Flat 4 fuchs. 4,5 fronts, deep six rears.
Rock and roll bed

I will regret selling this. One of the coolest panels around. It was owned by Volkswagen dealership in Central Nebraska and a Catholic priest named father Fangman bought it. He never did anything with it and it sat there in a field until the trees grew around it until it was rescued in 2006. Have pics of this. It then was imported to the UK. It changed hands and was then built into the spec you now see by the previous owner. I imported it to the Netherlands in 2020. Solid underneath and showing it’s age on top. I use axle stands under the jacking points and crawl underneath it. Drives very well considering how low it is.
