We present a very rare Dormobil camper, characterized by its unique side-folding roof. As third owners, we originally had the goal to breathe new life into this gem, but unfortunately my father could no longer complete the project. For this reason, we decided to part with this wonderful vehicle, which we had previously imported from the Netherlands. It has not been officially registered in our name to date.
Is this vehicle perfect? Certainly not. But the engine, runs flawlessly and starts without hesitation. The brakes, on the other hand, require some attention and need to be reworked.
As a special highlight, the offer includes a brand new, original Dormobil tent. Originally, the camper was adorned with a "Lotus White" paint job, but a previous owner changed it to a vibrant orange - unfortunately, not in the most skillful way.
This camper is an authentic, pristine and very early first series T2a bus, with a metal dashboard that adds to its uniqueness. The engine has a capacity of 1584cm3 and the bus itself was produced in 1969. It is a truly unpolished jewel for lovers and enthusiasts who are willing to give it the necessary care and attention.
