Genuine German for Volkswagen. NewOldStock NOS: Believe to be one (1) Part Number 343 251 285. Chrome trim pipe for mounting on tail pipe (not resonator)! Approximately 146 MM long and 38 MM wide inside to inside! Application Type 3 and Type 34 to Engine Numbers K 0 198 000/M 0 004 266, T 0 933 000/P 0 006 900, U 0 502 000 through July 1971 when using correct exhaust parts. Mounts on tail pipe as shown in Illustrated Parts (curved piece of metal and two screws-Not Included) Has two holes at mounting end for the attachment parts and another hole at the bottom tip for drainage. No markings, perhaps GHE, as that is ones I have seen, sometimes the logo imprint is very light to nonexistent. This piece wasn’t carefully stored down through the years, has many minor scratches and the inside (which most all have, no chrome inside) This one had some rust inside where chrome not processed, cleaned out, rust killed, applied coating of clear 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit exhaust paint for longevity. Clean Clean, Very Minor scuffs/scratches, Polished to a Faretheewell! So, without the referenced curved metal and screws, one needs to come up with means of mounting this, suggesting flat nuts for inside and matching screws from outside, or make a curved metal piece and drill and tap, only suggestions. Number 23 Illustrated Parts refers. Ensure Application. $31mailedLower48.
