1960 Porsche 356 super 90 - MATCHING NUMBERS   Price: £145,000
Here we have my fresh built 1960 BT5 matching numbers super 90 Porsche 356, the car has gone through a 3 year nut and bolt restoration.
It has been inspected and credited with the highest standard and has an agreed insurance valuation.

I believe there’s not another genuine 356 like this on the market, with it being a matching numbers car and correct paint code to suit original build, I have the Porsche authenticity certificate with build spec and numbers to prove this.

I’ve owned the car 4 years, I’d like to say the restoration was a breeze but it was anything but! Everything that was touched needed work but thankfully we kept all original panels, doors etc (all doors, hood, boot have same build codes) the plan from day one was to keep all the original metal we could without cutting corners or compromising on strength, luckily there is many top end reproduction parts on the market, I have hundreds of photos showing each stage of the build so you can buy with confidence.

I hunted the market for 2 years trying to find the correct car to suit what I wanted to achieve, I didn’t want to paint a car slate grey without it being correct to the build spec. When I purchased the car it had been re-sprayed red but from talking to the owner and receiving the build certificate I knew it was originally slate grey, when I viewed the car I removed dash trim to reveal slate grey still present and even more was uncovered on tear down.

When the restoration started it was always my intention to build an outlaw without making anything irreversible, if you wanted to go stock again the only metal work required would be the chassis notch, a few days work.

This car has had many bespoke parts made with lots of design involved insuring geometry is still correct at any ride height, I’ve also kept original parts if one day you wanted to return it stock, I'm also happy to undertake this job if buyer would prefer.

The car is fresh on the scene with only attending two shows where it picked up a trophy in both!
The car will be sold in A1 condition with only 1270 miles on the clock enough to prove the motor and running gear.

If you’re asking why am I selling after 3 years of restoration, the truth is I love the build process and already have other cars in line to focus on and feel the car needs to be used and enjoyed.

The only part on the whole car not restored is the steering wheel! I love the history in cars and for me the steering wheel tells the complete story of all owned before, plus it looks amazing against the fresh paint and new interior.

The photos really dont do the car justice, it has many subtle tasteful details that need to be seen to be appreciated, the interior looks incredible against the slate grey.

Unfortunately the genuine RDW wheels will not come with the car but I have a choice of new reproduction Fuchs or chrome stock steels.

If you have any questions or want specific photos get in contact and I’ll happily send over via Whatsapp or email. Shipping worldwide isn’t a problem I have an enclosed trailer so happy to take it to any port required.

Car has just done Lebug show and back, drove faultless with no issues.
