Up for sale beautiful 1961 Double Cab finished in sealing wax red. This double cab was build of 1961 and was originally through New Orleans for the US market. It received a new wire harness, all rubber gaskets ,window seals ,door gaskets, new correct 6.40 15 Bias Ply Firestone tires (Coker) ,brake system overhaul , new shocks ,complete interior panel set from Clara , original seats covers were removed and restiched /repaired where needed. The Double Cab came with a correct stale air 40hp motor that was completely rebuilt in Sacramento with zero miles on it. With the motor build, the carburetor,generator, and distributor were also professionally rebuilt. Althought this is a fully restored Double Cab it actually retains a LOT of originally ! Something Unique to this Double Cab is the interior paint is ORIGINAL ! The seat covers, steering wheel, pop out latches, door handles , Sun Visor, cargo door strap, rims bumpers , glass, (except replacement safary glass in ORIGINAL safary frames) and many other items, are all original ! This early Double Cab is turn Key and ready to go.
Very hard to find a nicely stored early Double Cab these days.
