Jan 1951 Restored SWF Ribbed semaphores Price: $1699/1599US US
|
Here we have a fully restored pair of SWF Ribbed semaphores (pending final assembly) that are date stamped (on the short-pivot arm AC for January 1951).
This set has been discounted $200 from our usual price since there is some pitting on the original short arms and housings/bodies. These pieces were first bead blasted and then clear cadmium plated as original.
We have also done the following:
--Installed Split Parts Unlimited ribbed arms and lenses which are the most costly on the market but the quality is amazing. The lenses are better than NOS (less prone to crack than the 60-70 year old originals) but the colour, fit, light diffusion etc are as good as original.
--Replated the pistons in nickel-better than NOS!
--Recovered the coils in red cotton and water proofed with multiple coats of clear electrical lacquer
--Replaced all 3 springs
--New rubber bumpers and new bulb wires.
--Used correct original bolts to hold arm/lens/short arm assembly together and new SS nuts.
All the work, except plating is done by me personally! No one does it better than Matt's Parts.
