Was a daily driver a few years ago, had a 1.9 swap before I bought it. naturally aspirated diesel was running great until I needed a new diesel fuel pump that had a drip. Had a mechanic do the job because it's a mechanical fuel pump driven from the timing belt but now barely runs . I think the timing is off or pump is 180 degrees off but mechanic says I need a new engine. I did not want to invest any more into it just to sell it so I'm asking 1k OBO
Also body is straight but rust in alot of the usual places. Dash is sun damaged with a cover over it, needs ebrake ratcheting mechanism . I have various extra parts and a shell that can go with it as well. Shoot me your best offer...
