The Engle FK98 is the Biggest VW Race Cam available! It is designed for 1.4-1.5 rockers, and it's specs are .446" Cam Lift, .624" Valve Lift (1.4 Rockers), 332 degrees of advertised duration, and 291 degrees of duration at .050", on a 108 Lobe Center.
This cam is for the guys that HAVE to have the biggest around! Your limits are NOT THE CAM, your heads, exhaust, and other parts are what's holding you back! The Engle FK-98 is likely too big for most engines. Chevy springs are required.
Expect a powerband to not even start til' almost 5000RPM, pulling to ~10000 RPM. As stated, the more headwork and gearing the better.
Chevy springs are also REQUIRED, as are tight gears. We recommend compression ratio of 13:1 or more.
