The Best Thing for the Summer sun. Sun Shade That will let you SEE Out and People walking by Can't see in. Cools the Interior by up to 30 Degrees. Choice of Colors. Colors are good till sold out. Once sold out, new stock may not have same colors available. Colors for Sun Block are listed on Chart. Not all colors are in stock. The Sun Shades are made of the 90% sunshade Exterior Quality Vinyl Coated Mesh. Sewn With Marine Poly Thread to Match. Bound or Edged in Exterior Marine Quality Binding made for the Boating Industry To withstand the Rigors of out door use. Easy to store by rolling or folding and hiding in the Van. Mine sits on top of the folded Upper Bunk. They fit all Year Vanagons from 1980 to 1991 including Trucks and Campers/Westys. Also available for 55 to 79 Buses and all Eurovans.
Cleaning - Put it on the vanagon and wash the vanagon like normal. Take it off and toss in the grass and let it dry, Fold or Roll and Store. Done
Installation time is under 5 minutes and my Wife Usually is the one putting it up when we get to the site. No Tools to install or mount at all. I made my prototype over 2 years ago and didn't want to sell them until I knew it would be an item I would use.
To Install: Remove from where you store them and lay on windshield Under wipers. Fold out wings and Hook top corners to Upper corners of Doors. Slam Doors and Straighten to give clean appearance. Done
What is not so good about them????
#1: (who would tell you the bad things with what they're selling??) At Night when you turn on the lights inside the vanagon the Sunshade WILL act in Reverse, Meaning: You won't be able to see out but others Will See in. To Fix this Pull your curtains at night or charge admission since they WILL see in. #2 Wiper Blades will Discolor where the blade touches the Lighter Colored Sunshades. #3 the Darker the Sunshade the Less Cooling of the interior.
