1970 Class 11 style Beetle Price: 7000
|
This daily driven Class 11 style beetle has been great fun since its resurrection.
Here’s some of the many improvements.
Thing front beam with adjusters, hook & rod limiters, gusseted spindles, Thing Y-braces, & Bilstein remote reservoir Class11 front shocks.
New pans, all new brake lines & hoses, brake master cylinder, front Ghia style disc brake conversion, type III rear brakes with new shoes & wheel cylinders.
New SAW 29mm rear torsion bars, modified lower spring perches (shortened to Thing specs.), 944 rear axles, flanges, & stub axles, & HD Bilstein rear shocks.
Marathon wheels with 215/75/15 tires.
Roughly 10,000 miles on rebuilt engine.

While far from perfect aesthetically, this car makes up for in for in daily driver dependability.
May consider trades.
I recently purchased a Bay Window bus & want to focus on that project.
