Swapped off the poorly painted front bumper assembly for a beautiful one I saved from my other Vanagon that I had never planned to let go of. Hopefully the right buyer reads all this and understands the amount of care this van has seen. Which can't be matched in the same price range.
Flaws: chip in windshield, A/C pump needs to be reinstalled, new skylight assembly still in a box, new GoWesty Tan ACRYLIC pop top canvas still in a box. Lastly, clearcoat is obviously sunbaked, doesn't affect anything except appearance, fiberglass luggage carrier has damage thanks to the previous owner.
The point of rebuilding the van was to have it remain looking like an old van but with everything redone. If all you care about is pretty paint, look elsewhere and know you'll have to spend thousands on mechanical repairs. The right buyer would rather have a turn-key Van to enjoy that a pretty van that will see tow trucks (such a common sight)
Long story short, I personally overhauled the entire van over hundreds of hours and many thousands of dollars. Images, videos, receipts, packages as proof of everything. No guess work!!

All test drives will be with me behind the wheel until funds have been exchanged as collateral. The liability is simply too high, but I am happy to take you for a drive around my neighborhood if you are ready to purchase with payment in hand. This is a Vanagon that shouldn't be needing any mechanical repairs for a long while as should be clearly evident by the parts listed above.
