Use this kit to get rid of your reduction boxes for better highway gearing, and lower the rear of your bus 3.5" while also making it adjustable +/- 1".
Includes new longer axle tubes, new short style end castings, one piece rubber axle boots pre-installed, NEW dropped adjustable spring plates, axle bearings, axle spacers spacers, and seal kits. Pretty much everything you will need, except brakes, shocks and the transaxle.
This kit comes with NEW adjustable dropped conversion spring plates. NO NEED to cut up your stock plates or send in cores.
There is also an option to buy used '68 or T3 axle shafts. If you choose NO on this option, you will need to provide your own 1968 Beetle, or any swing axle T3 axle shafts. While supplies last on the axles and caps.
A T1 Beetle rear disk brake kit works great on these setups.
Stock 4.12 ratio swing transaxles work very well for this swap. The earlier 4.37 ratio will be revving quite high on the road.
