Up to 1961 the golden 100.000 kilometer needle was awarded from the factory to those drivers completing 100.000 kilometer without blowing up the engine. It came together with a watch, an inner and an outer badge plus a big certification.
While watches, badges and certifications survived quite often due their size and obvious value, the little needle got lost most likely. Either because people misjudged it as a cheap aftermarket gimmick or because of its small size.
The needle in its original box is a little holy grail.
