This is the Wolfsburg Edition. Previous owner repaired right rear panel and painted van with MonstaLiner. Color is “Jungle Love” green. Also removed third middle seat and installed Westfalia camper package from a 1990 van. Engine was installed in 2005 from a 2000 Jetta w/ 58k miles. It is the ALH series engine with a stage 1 tune. Otherwise stock. Transmission rebuilt in 2013 with 1.14 3rd gear and .73 4th gear. Front diff rebuilt at same time. KEP stage 1 clutch. Has a diesel forced air furnace for cabin heat under the bench seat. House battery with SurePower 100amp bi-directional isolation relay. Just had the dash apart to replace heater blower motor and resistor. Resealed air box and installed new wiper motor. New coil springs and steering rack w/ tie rod ends from Go Westy. New Mazama Open Range A/T tires with alignment on Dec. 2, 2024.
We bought this van in Nov. 2021 in Colorado. Drove it to the west coast and back up to Alaska in January. Used it all over the state for the last 3 years, drove it back down the AlCan to Oregon this fall, and now ready to pass it on to the next person. This is our second Vanagon, and has been an excellent, reliable, comfortable vehicle with plenty of available power with the turbo diesel engine.
