This is a jetta distributor with the shaft filed down to fit an air cooled bug. Yeah - someone actually did that. It worked. All the components of the actual ignition system (even the little tiny pin that you should never drop) are there and will fit the distributor for a 79 bus or Vanagon with the stock electronic ignition distributor. Looks like spaghetti but the wiring is intact but a schematic would be handy. It's as it was since it came out of the car working. Bosch distributor number is 0 237 020 109 .
