This is a 1987 Syncro Panel Transporter. Super rare. Not sure how to price this, put 30k there but we will see what offers come. Hard to tell how many exist in the US. Some say less than 20, others say less than 10. Some 2WD some 4WD. But most of the ones in the US are not original spec. Most have been cut up and modified (added windows, high top, kitchen). Its hard to find any that were for sale as comparison. It was originally brought in to Canada then spent the rest of the life as a CA Van. Registered in British Columbia 2001-2013 and registered in Oregon and in CA after, but was located in the dry Palm Springs area with Oregon Plates. It had (has) a frame coating (oil or wax) that made if impermeable to rust on the frame. She is unmolested, 79k KM in 2013 and now shows 53k KM on a Speedo. 5 speed, Rust free, frame is so perfect, 2.1, Go Westy throughout. strong compression, single knob rear locker, manual steering, empty inside, ready for your dream. from what i can tell there was a fender bender in 2018 on the back of the van, which was the cause of the new paint all over (original color). However there is no damage to body or frame that I can see. Current CA smog and registration. Looking for someone to make it there own, but please don't cut windows, if you want windows just buy a tintop syncro. This would make a great everyday van, or sitting in some collection. But the inside needs to be finished. Put a Zbed in there or make it something cooler.
