This 1966 beetle is a true barn find . It has been tucked away in storage in central California for nearly 30 years. Below are the pros and cons. enjoy !

Pros:

all new brakes (German parts)
new soft lines
engine runs strong
new wheel bearings
never been hit
all original sheet metal
brand new upholstered front seats not a kit done by the famous Lenny Copp of west coast classics
original and straight front and rear bumpers
seats are 66' one year only
engine has been pulled and re-sealed
NOS exhaust tips not repro
valves adjusted
new clutch
new throwout bearing
tank cleaned and sealed
all original glass
comes with a set of rear quarter windows pop-outs
brand new tires
full set of smoothie wheels
full set of factory 66' marked wheels
roof rack VWOA
new carpet kit
patched floor at battery tray
non-op title in hand
beautiful age and wear
runs and drives great
great candidate for restoration
if it were me I would drive as is

Cons:

not many :)

small engine fire at some point in its life note the slight burn on the deck lid
I actually like the way it looks.

couple spots of surface rust

truly a solid beetle
