This is a custom pedal set up for using a roller pedal and or adding a Cruiser pedal to 68' up bugs,ghia type 3 and things.
Or for 58' to 66' floor pans that want a wide clutch/brake pedal set up, with mods.
It uses Bullet proof (boxed in) 68 up pedals. as seen in the April 2008 page 53 and August 2011 page 44 issues of Hot VW's Magazine.
I can move the clutch pedal aprox. 1 inch to the left $400
and the Brake Pedal 3/4 for $475, check my other ads.
It is a much cleaner/safer look because it does not have the stock throttle pivot molded into the base.
The "Base" and Brake/clutch pedal bushings are replaced, then the base gets drilled and a "zerk" fitting is install in the same place as the factory did on Earlier years. Remind your Mechanic to Grease it.
All parts are powdercoated Gloss Black, except for the aluminum base it will be glass beaded and remain unpainted unless requested at time of ordering the base can be spray painted to match. and assembled with grease, brake and clutch pedal "end play" are set and clutch arm is installed using a Grade 8 Bolt and lock nut for strength and safety. new clutch, brake pedal pads are installed.
other finishes are availiable including chrome.
Comes standard with a Heat treated clutch hook
