Many VWs in various "Charlie's Angels" TV show
Rome
Filmed in the Los Angeles, California area in the late 1970's thru early 1980's, many VWs are seen either in the background or close by when the 3 Angels are working.
1. White '65 Beetle drives by the Townsend Agency home office for the Angels. "Harrigan's Angel", season 4 episode 19, 1980.
2. Pale blue '68/'69 Beetle drives by the Agency. "Antique Angels" S2E24, 1978.
3, 4, 5. Angel Kelly Garrett (Jaclyn Smith) drives a green '68 auto-stick Beetle in "Hellride", S1E1 1976.
6. Red '70 or '71 Bay Window camper. "Angels in Vegas" S3E1, 1978.
7. Red late Bay Window Deluxe, "Angels on Ice" S2E2, 1977.
8. Brown late Bay Window at Los Angeles Int'l Airport. "Angels belong in Heaven" S3E11, 1978. Actor Lloyd Bochner as a hitman character.
9. Blue early Bay Window, as per #8.
10. Blue '69 Beetle "Mother Angel", S3E9, 1978.

Types 1, 2, 3, 4 in "Brannigan" (1975)
Rome
Movie filmed mostly in London, England. Chicago Police Lieutenant Jim Brannigan (John Wayne) is sent to the U.K. to escort organized crime boss Ben Larkin back to the U.S., but Larkin's hitmen prepare an ambush for Brannigan. His London-based police driver is Jennifer (Judy Geeson, familiar as one of the students in "To Sir with Love"). Many VWs are in the background. Pogel has numerous screen shots in his gallery; I'll supplement them.
1. Green 411 Wagon at Heathrow Airport
2. White Karmann Cabriolet and light blue Beetle at Piccadilly Circus
3. Red '73+ Beetle with the Palace of Westminster ("Parliament") in background. Motorbike rider is British actor Tony Robinson, known as "Baldrick" in the "Blackadder" comedy series.
4. Brannigan commandeers a yellow Ford Capri Mk2 to follow one of the thugs who's driving off in a Jaguar S-Type sedan. White '66 Beetle parked across the street.
5. During the chase, Brannigan (with the terrified Capri owner beside him) pass a blue early '60's Beetle parked on the street
6. Blue Beetle on the road during the car chase with Brannigan taking to the wide sidewalk. Low taillights might be a snowflake-based '58 -'61 Beetle which used most of the mounting holes for the '62+ taillamps. Looking at Pogel's photo a moment later, Beetle has 4-tip exhaust.
7. Green Type 3 at the Tower Bridge. Both the Jag, and Brannigan following in the Capri jump across the rising bridge and separating road surfaces.
8. White '71/'72 Bay window Bus as the Jag turns a sharp corner during the chase.
9. White Beetle in Piccadilly Circus passes by as Jennifer and Brannigan wait in her car
10. 2 Beetles parked above the highway as Jennifer picks Brannigan up from the airport.
