It took me a couple days, but I finally finished sanding under the rear trunk lid. I had most of it done the first night, but the crusty-type rust along the lip was difficult to remove. So I finished it tonite. Only one small rust-thru hole though, so we got to it in time.

Don't know if you can make it out, but there are alot of little bondo oozes, from the previous owner, drilling holes, and plastering on the bondo- from the outside, to fix the rear apron. We call him the "Bondo Meister." This is why I'm going to replace the rear apron. This is the view thru the intake air duct, where the boot would go.
