Beetles in "That Darn Cat" (1965)
Rome
Walt Disney movie, linking up a VW Beetle with actor Dean Jones who will make history a few years later in "The Love Bug". In the movie's drive-in scene, Patti (Hayley Mills) lets Dan's Siamese cat out of his Woody wagon and it scurries off. A drive-in attendant tries to catch the cat, which is running away on cars' roofs. A red Beetle is seen in background. The attendant also runs over the roofs, inadvertently breaking his stride by jumping into the open sunroof of an oval-window Beetle. The car bounces up with its 2 occupants, showing the bullet front blinkers and the larger, old-style Wolfsburg hood crest. The first Beetle is seen in the upper right background.

Help solving what this starter is out of?
Marty Venoit
1956 Oval, had starter problems. I pulled the starter to find this, it had no nose to enter a bushing. I managed to find one starter on the internet that looked like it, and the description just said early starter. I replaced it with a rebuilt Bosch and all is fine now. However, can anyone tell me what I have with the oddball starter?
Thanks, Marty
