VWs in various 1970's TV shows
Rome
Each show was filmed in Southern California so that VWs are almost always seen in the background.
1. Dark green/blue early Fastback in left background. Adam-12, "Northwest Division" season 6, episode 11 1973. Ofcrs Malloy and Reed (Martin Milner, Kent McCord) stop a boy (Johnny Whitaker, Jr.) riding a small trail bike.
2. Late Squareback parked, per #1.
3. '71 or '72 camper, per #1. Actor in white apron is Ronnie Schell.
4. Blue early '60's Beetle, Emergency! "Firehouse Quintet" S6E18 1977. Some of the Station 51 crew push the no-starting 1948 Packard station wagon past the parked Beetle.
5. White '66 Beetle, with a yellow Karmann Cabrio hidden to the left. Emergency! "Fair Fight" S6E5 1976.
6. Orange Squareback, Emergency! "Captain Hook" S6E8 1976. Parked in front of a body shop. Show star Station 51 paramedic John Gage (Randolph Mantooth) is on right, walking away. IMDB lists the location as 743 Foothill Blvd, La Canada Flintridge, California. IMDB also mentions that the yellow hotrod seen in the bodyshop is the very same famous one driven by John Milner (Paul Le Mat) in movie "American Graffiti" from 1973.
7, 8. Clementine '71 Super Beetle, Charlie's Angels "Three for the Money" S4E22 1980. License plate frame shows the VW dealer Allred in Glendale, Calif. Angel Tiffany Welles (Shelley Hack) wears a white jump suit. Black '68/'69 Beetle in background.
9. Red late Karmann Cabrio, Charlie's Angels "Stuntwoman Angels" S5E12 1981. Likely is the same Cabrio from episode "Angel on a roll" S5E14.

VWs in various "The Bionic Woman" TV show episodes
Rome
Filmed in the late 1970's, starring Lindsay Wagner as the Bionic Woman Jaime Sommers.
1. Beetles in background of Universal Studios' "German village" set, used in a few other episodes (e.g., "Motorcycle Boogie") as well as in "The Six Million Dollar Man". "Biofeedback" season 2 episode 12, 1977. Episode took place in "East Germany".
2. Orange late Squareback, "German village" set, likely same car as in "Motorcycle Boogie" seen in my Gallery. Sommers was passenger in the Citroen DS19. Per #1.
3. Silver 412 wagon with green Beetle parked in front of it, with Sommers driving past in the old pickup. "Jaime's Shield" S2E10 1976.
4. Red '68/'69 Beetle, "The Martians are coming" S3E15 1978. Man in foreground is Dr. Rudy Wells (Martin E. Brooks), the scientist/engineer who developed the bionic body parts for Jaime Sommers, Max the German shepard bionic dog, and Col. Steve Austin (6 Million $ Man).
5. White '68/'69 Beetle "Brain Wash" S3E8 1976.
6. Beige '69 Beetle with orange late Squareback and green late Bay Window in background. "The Bionic Dog" S3E1 1977.
7. Orange Super Beetle Cabriolet, per #6.
8. Yellow '58 - '64 Baja Beetle, "Once a Thief" S2E22 1977. Sommers is the passenger in the red Pontiac GTO.
9, 10. Pale yellow '71 or '72 Beetle, per #1. Volvo P1800 behind it.

Six Beetles appear in the TV episode "Angel on a Roll", season 5 episode 14.
1. Main guest character Ted Markham (Mark Pinter) drives a red late Karmann Cabrio (Mars Red?). Angel Kris Munroe and John Bosley (Cheryl Ladd, David Doyle) watch him from across the street.
2. Markham and Kris drive to Las Vegas, Nevada in her white Mustang II fastback, stopping at a bank where she parks next to an orange '72 Super Beetle.
3. An orange late Beetle is in a parking lot in background.
Near the end of the episode, Markham returns from the Las Vegas trip to pick up the Beetle at a poker parlor, where the antagonist owners of the parlor wait for him and ambush. The other angels incl. Julie Rogers (Tanya Roberts) and Bosley come to his aid.
