The "Treffen" is from the Canada boarder in Washington State down to the Mexican boarder in California.
This year's was July 22nd, through 31st, 2022
MANY folks do the entire trip.
Others will join, and leave, the event at various points, showing support and joining in with the camaraderie.
Kathy and I joined (in our 1967 Westfalia Bus, and our 1971 Karmann Ghia) just for Day 6 as it came though the Bay Area of California.
These pictures are all from July 27th, and are in Mill Valley, below the Golden Gate Bridge (north side), Half Moon Bay, and lastly in Pacific Grove, CA at the 5th Annual Pacific Grove Hyw 1 Treffen Vintage VW Show and Shine.
