I have a 1982 Mexican beetle. I am building a buggy and kept the steering column.
There are four connetors on the harness that connect to the steering column. Three out of the four connectors I have figured out. One is ignition and starter, one is indicator and hazard, one is for windshield wiper.
The last one, I have no idea and require some feedback.
There are four wires: Solid white, Red, Yellow and one white with black stripe.
I have looked everywhere on the net for a wiring diagram and to identify what this connector operates and where the wires go.
Can somebody help.

This is not close to the original color of the headlight assembly, but it is very close to Pearl White and is a nice option if you have a Pearl White Bug and want something close for the headlight assembly. Note: It says Ultra Matte (flat) finish on the can, but it dries to a low sheen finish.

Pedal switch wiring includes a 5A inline fuse to protect 18 gauge wire going to the pedal switch and from the pedal switch to a relay that carries the current for the brake lights. This can be wired to include the switch on the master cylinder so it can act as a back-up for the pedal switch, or directly to the tail lights leaving the master cylinder switch unconnected. Will also work with a 12v system with the correct (12v) relay.
