Just added the mudflaps..and took her as fast as 160km/h for about 20 seconds !! This baby can fly ! But on the way back, had some trouble with the carb.. it just didnt want to idle..

Here they are when they were finished. The aperture of the passenger side fram became too big, and didn't want to fit back on the door. So, I put it in the vise overnight to close it up a little bit. It seemed to work, at least it looked as though it closed up anyway. I'll try to put it in again tomorrow. Oh, and these piece of glass are tough, I used a rawhide mallet to beat on the glass with a wooden block, then straight against the hammer..

Here is my jig for pressing the original windows back into the re-chromed frames. This is the WW seal (very tight but original rubber material). I broke one piece of original Duroglas, but had another one handy just in case. I could not get the glass to seat perfectly, so I used a wood vise to close it up a little. I closed it up a little too much and the glass turned into shards.. S#$%. Oh well. Trial and Error. I got them done, now I have to fight them into the car!
