All the nuts and bolts are cleaned and tapped.
The little screws and nuts are 5 x .80
The bus came with a split washer for the M5 bolts, the wavy washer came off a 59-60 splash pan I had lying around, but it was missing or had broken 3 split washers.

The bumper brackets had a big washer and then a split washer between the bracket and each nut, nothing between the body and the head of the bolt.

Even though the bus had a 2"x4" piece of wood (instead of the metal blade) mounted on the brackets/splash pans, the correct hardware and fat washers for installing the metal blade were under the jumpseat in the back of the bus.
